What are the refurb conditions?

There are several different ways to classify refurbished products based on their cosmetic condition. Note that a refurbished product sold by a professional refurbisher will be fully functional—these refurb conditions only give information regarding the aesthetic condition of a refurb.

There are 3 main categories of refurb conditions. On RefurbMe, they are called:

  • Excellent (often called grade A): the product looks brand new with no scratches or scuffs;
  • Good (often called grade B): the product is in good aesthetic condition but can feature some light scratches or scuffs on the lid
  • Fair (often called grade C): the product has noticeable signs of wear and tear with scuffs or marks on the lid/keyboard
