How do I filter for unlocked refurbished iPhones?

On RefurbMe you filter for unlocked iPhones with the Carrier filter. Search for an iPhone, open More Filters, scroll to Carrier, and select Unlocked. An unlocked phone is not tied to one network, so it works with any carrier, including abroad. Most refurbished phones are sold unlocked already, but the filter lets you rule out carrier-locked listings so you only see SIM-free devices.

A carrier-locked phone is one you bought as a device-plus-SIM bundle, and it will not accept a different network's SIM. Refurbished stock is usually unlocked, but it is worth confirming before you buy.
