Questions about the AirPods Max
What is MHWP4ZM/A?
MHWP4ZM/A is Apple's part number for the AirPods Max 2 Purple. Apple released it in March 16, 2026. Its launch price was £499.
Which seller has the cheapest refurbished AirPods Max?
Today it is Amazon Renewed, at £348 for a Excellent (A) unit with 1‑year warranty. The cheapest Fair unit is £656 at eBay Refurbished.
What warranty comes with a refurbished AirPods Max?
It depends on the seller. On this page: Amazon Renewed 1‑year warranty, Reboxed 1‑year warranty, eBay Refurbished 1‑year warranty. Every seller here takes returns for 30 days.
Are refurbished AirPods hygienic?
Yes. Professional refurbishers thoroughly clean and sanitize AirPods before resale. The cleaning process is a standard part of how Apple products get refurbished, and it applies to all audio products, including AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max. Apple introduced AirPods Max 2 with the H2 chip in March 2026, and both AirPods Max generations are listed refurbished on RefurbMe.
What battery health do refurbished AirPods come with?
Refurbished AirPods battery health varies depending on the refurbisher. Apple does not promise a new battery in refurbished AirPods: its refurbishment page limits the new battery and outer shell to iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad. AirPods from the Apple Refurbished Store get genuine Apple replacement parts as needed, full functional testing and the one-year limited warranty. Third-party refurbishers test battery performance but may not replace the battery unless it fails their minimum thresholds.
