An alert usually goes quiet for one of six reasons. It has already sent its 3 emails, your email isn't confirmed, it stopped after 9 months, it is paused, no offer at or under your price is in stock, or the emails land in spam. Open the alerts page to see the state of each alert, then use the matching fix below.
It already sent 3 emails
An alert sends at most 3 emails in total: "Available", "Still available" and "Last reminder". They come at least 6 hours apart, and the count keeps going across restocks. A price alert whose offer stays in stock at or under your price sends the next email 6 hours after the last one, so it can use all three within about 12 hours. An alert without a maximum price sends a second email if the restocked offer is still there 6 hours later, so one restock can use two of the three. The count resets only after 60 days without a send. You don't need to do anything. Once those 60 days are over, the alert can fire again on the next match.
Your email isn't confirmed
RefurbMe sends nothing until you confirm your email with the 6-digit code or the "Confirm my email" button. If you don't confirm within 48 hours, the alert sends nothing. Ask for a new confirmation email and confirm it to start the alert. Here is what to do if you haven't received your confirmation email.
The alert shows "Not being watched"
An alert that nobody has touched for 9 months stops. On the alerts page it shows "Not being watched". Click "Reactivate" to start it again.
The alert is paused
A paused alert sends nothing. On the alerts page, click "Resume this alert" to start it again.
No offer at or under your price
A price alert fires when an offer at or under your maximum price is in stock, including when a listed offer drops to that price. If no seller has one at that price, the alert stays quiet. An alert without a maximum price fires only when a matching offer is new or back in stock. If you want more matches, set the alert again with a higher maximum price. See how to set a price alert.
The emails land in spam
Check your spam, junk and promotions folders for an email from RefurbMe. Mark it as "not spam" so the next ones reach your inbox.
If none of these explains it, contact us with the email address you used for the alert.
