The new MacBook Pro is undoubtably an amazing piece of hardware. Apple created another feat in technology and those who ordered theirs on launch week have being receiving them over the past couple of months.
The new MacBook Pro comes with a host of new features and technological advancements, perhaps most noticeably the Touch Bar as pictured below, giving users an interactive touch interface with functions that change depending on the app you are using – it’s pretty cool.
But it is very, very expensive.
So, maybe it could be a good idea to wait for the refurbished version of the new MacBook Pro? We think that might be your best option to save some bucks.
And when will that be?
Well, we’re glad you asked! We actually have the statistics on when each model of MacBook Pro first became available on the refurbished market. These statistics are purely for the US, but international markets have very similar patterns too.
Using this, we have been able to predict when the new MacBook Pro will become available on the refurbished market, and thus, on RefurbMe. Take a look below.
This is our best estimate from this data. Let’s hope that we’re wrong and that we’ll be able to get our hands on a refurbished 2016 MacBook Pro before the end of the year, unlikely as it is!
Stay tuned for next week when we’ll be telling you when you can expect price drops on the new MacBook Pro.
